Function Description
Easy.School allows the coordinator to set a time frame outside of which families cannot send messages to the facility via the Easy Family app.
This feature is useful to ensure that staff do not receive communications during nighttime hours or when the facility is closed, improving communication management and team well-being.
Note: The block only applies to messages sent from family members to the facility. The coordinator and educators can continue to send messages to families at any time.

How to Activate the Time Block
Step 1 – Access the Communications Section
Log in to the management system with a coordinator account.
In the left menu, click on "Settings" to expand the submenu.
Among the submenu items, click on "Communications".
Step 2 – Activate the Time Limit
On the Communications page, you will find a box with the option:
"Limit family messages to the school to specific hours"
By default, this option is disabled.
To enable it, click on the toggle (the switch) to the right of the item: the toggle will turn green, indicating that the feature is active.
Once activated, the following informational text will appear:
"When activated, family members can send messages to the school only during the specified time frame"
and two new mandatory fields will appear to fill out.
Step 3 – Set the Allowed Time Frame
Fill in the two fields that appear:
Start time for allowed messages (mandatory) Enter the time from which families will be able to start sending messages. Example: 08:00
End time for allowed messages (mandatory) Enter the time after which families will no longer be able to send messages. Example: 18:00
Attention: both fields are mandatory. If the toggle is active but the times are not filled in, the system will not allow you to save.
Step 4 – Save the Settings
After setting the desired times, click the "Save" button at the bottom right of the box.
A confirmation message will indicate that the settings have been saved successfully.
How to Deactivate the Time Block
To remove the time limit and allow families to send messages at any time:
Access Settings → Communications.
Click the toggle to deactivate it: it will turn gray.
Click "Save" to confirm the change.
What Families See
When a family attempts to send a message outside the allowed time frame, the Easy Family app will display a warning informing that sending messages is not available at that time.
