App Messages Section

Entering the Easy Staff app, at the bottom right of the central button, you will find the “Messages” section.

Step 1 – Search Message

By clicking on Messages, a screen will open with the following fields and search options:

  • “Search” Field: Enter the recipient's name (if you are on From You) or the sender (if you are on From Others). To understand if you are on “From You” or “From Others”, check which of the two icons at the bottom left is selected.
  • Select “Filters”: Use this filter to find urgent messages, favorites, or related to supplies.
  • Select “Labels”: If labels were created during the communication creation phase, select one to quickly find messages of that category.

In the center of the page, messages are sorted by date, from the most recent to the oldest.

At the bottom of the page, you will find other icons to navigate through the various areas of the Messages function:

  • New: Write a new message (icon at the bottom center).
  • From Others: View all conversations started by others (first icon on the left).
  • From You: View all conversations started by you (second icon from the left).
  • Drafts: View drafts (fourth icon from the left).
  • Trash: View deleted messages (icon at the bottom right).

Step 2 – Write a New Message

  • Message Type: Select the type of message to send from the dropdown menu, choosing between Message or Supply Request. Select Message to proceed.
  • Labels: Choose the label from those pre-set by the administrator. This selection will help you find messages faster based on the label. You can also:
    • Enable recipient replies.
    • Mark the message as Urgent.
    • Create individual messages for each recipient.
  • Recipients: Select the recipients of the communication from the list. To send it to everyone, click on “Select All” next to the icon shaped like a person with a magnifying glass. At the top right, there is also the option to select educators. After selecting the recipients, click on “Save” at the top right.
  • Subject: Enter the subject of the communication in the Subject field. In the field below, enter the message text. Through the three icons, you can attach:
    • A document (left icon),
    • A photo (central icon),
    • A video (right icon).

Once all fields are filled, you have two options:

    • Send the communication by clicking on the light blue round button shaped like a paper airplane.
    • Save the draft by clicking on the button at the top right.
