Record a Video from the App

To record a video as an educator accessing from the app, you have two options: single entry or multiple entry.

Record a video with multiple entry

This operation is recommended for recording multiple videos at the same time for several students.

1. Access the App

Go to the "Multiple Recording" tab, where various icons will be displayed. Click on "Video".

2. Step 1 - Basic Data

• Date: the date for which you want to record the video. The system automatically inserts the current date, but it can be modified.

• Time: the system automatically inserts the current time, but it is editable. This time will be pre-assigned to all students in the next step, but you can customize it for each student in step 2.

• Select Sections: through this selection, you can decide the sections for which you want to record the videos. The system automatically selects all sections under your responsibility, but you can deselect those you are not interested in.

• Pre-select students: allows you to pre-select students to speed up the recording. The options are:

• Present in structure

• All except absentees

• All

• None (manual selection)

Click on "Next" to proceed to the next step.

3. Step 2 - Title and Video Upload

• Title: give a title to the video or the group of videos you are uploading.

• Add File: to upload a video, click on the light blue button at the bottom "Add File" or select from the tab "Select your media files". On the first upload, a request for permission may appear "Easy Staff would like to access your photos". After authorizing, select the desired video and click on "Done" at the top right.

Once selected, the video will be uploaded and you will return to the title page. To delete an uploaded file, click on the "red x" next to the video. To add more videos, click again on "Add File" and repeat the process.

At the end of the upload, click on "Next" at the bottom.

4. Step 3 - Selection and Data Entry for Each Student

On the next screen, you will see the student cards filtered by the parameters entered in the previous step.

• If the card is bordered in blue, the student is selected; without a border, it is deselected.

• By clicking in the upper right corner of the card (symbol "V"), you can toggle the selection.

Each card contains:

• Student Photo (if uploaded).

• First and Last Name of the student and Section to which they belong.

• You can add a personal note by clicking on the tab "Write your note here".

After making the desired changes, click on "Next" at the bottom.

5. Step 4 - Summary and Confirmation

The last step is a summary screen that shows the date of the video and the count of students for whom the recording is being made, divided by sections.

To confirm the save, click on "Save". If you wish to make changes, use the arrow icon in the upper left to return to the previous steps.

At the end, you will be taken back to the multiple recordings menu.

Record a video with single entry

This operation is recommended for quickly recording the video of a single student.

1. Access the app

Go to the "Single Recording" tab, where various icons will be displayed. Select "Video" from the last icon in the second row.

2. Select student

• First select the section via "Select a section", then select the desired student.

3. Enter video details

By clicking on "Video", a view will open with:

• Student Photo (if uploaded).

• First and Last Name of the student and Section.

• Date: pre-set with the date selected in the previous view.

• Time: pre-set with the current time, editable.

• Title: give a title to the video or the set of videos.

• Add File: to upload a video, click on the "Add File" button or select from the tab "Select your media files". On the first use, a request may appear "Easy Staff would like to access your photos". After authorizing, select the videos to upload and click on "Done".

To delete an uploaded file, click on the "red x" next to the video. To add more videos, repeat the process.

At the end, click on "Next".

4. Confirm

To confirm the recording, click on "Save". To cancel, click on the "Back" arrow.

Upon saving, you will be taken back to the Single Recording screen with all the icons of the various activities.
