Why can't I register anything in a student's logbook?

If, accessing the Easy Staff application or from the Browser in the Educator section, you cannot see the desired student to register in their logbook (entries, exits, activities, etc.), there may be two reasons:

1. The student has not been added to your section

Educators can only view and work with students who belong to the sections they are in. If the student does not appear in the list, it is likely that they have not been added to your section.

Solution

• Contact the Coordinator and request that the student be added to your section.

• Once this change is made, log out and log back into the application. The student should appear in the list of available students.

2. You have not been added to the student's section

If your Educator account has not been associated with the student's section, you will not have the ability to modify their logbook. Educators can only work with students from their own sections.

Solution

• The Coordinator must associate your account with the section where the student is present.

• After the association, you will be able to view the student and register activities in their logbook.
