How to Customize the Terms Used for Children's Needs

Every facility can use custom terms to describe the characteristics of a child's need. Here's how to do it:

  1. Log in as Coordinator

Log in to the Coordinator account and go to Facility Management.

  1. Navigate to the settings menu

In the blue menu on the left, click on Settings. A submenu will open: select Needs.

  1. View the list of needs

At this point, you will find the list of need types Pee and Poop, each with the Normal characteristic already preset.

  1. Add new characteristics

To add additional characteristics:

• Click the button in the top right “+ New”.

• Two fields will appear: Type and Characteristic.

• In Type, select Pee or Poop from the list.

• In Characteristic, enter the desired term (for example, for Pee you might add very yellow or with blood).

• Click Save to add the new characteristic to the list.

  1. Modify or delete a characteristic

• To modify an existing characteristic, click the Edit button (green icon).

• To delete a characteristic, click the X next to the item you wish to remove.

Note: These characteristics will be visible to staff during the registration of the need and can be selected without the educator having to enter them manually.
