The “Weekly Shifts” section allows you to view, create, modify, duplicate, delete, and associate weekly shifts with educators.
How to access Weekly Shifts
1. Log in with a Coordinator account.
2. Enter the desired location.
3. From the side menu, click on “Staff” → “Weekly Shifts”.
A screen will open with the list of already created weekly shifts.
For each shift, the following details will be visible:
• Shift name.
• Creation date.
• Three action icons: Edit, Duplicate, Delete.
How to create a new weekly shift
1. Click the “+ New” button at the top right.
2. The “New Weekly Shift” screen will open, where you need to:
• Name – Shift name (required field).
• Add shift – Select a shift from those already created.
• “Add shift” button – To add more shifts on the same day.
• Shift copy icon – To copy the same shift for the next day as well.
⚠️ Attention: If no shifts are entered for a day, it will automatically be considered a day off.
3. After assigning shifts to the desired days, click “Save” at the top right.
How to modify a weekly shift
1. In the list, find the shift to modify.
2. Click on the pencil icon ✏️.
3. The “Edit Weekly Shift” screen will open, where you can update the previously entered fields.
4. After making changes, click “Save”.
• To cancel, click “Cancel”.
⚠️ Attention: If no shifts are entered for a day, it will automatically be considered a day off.
How to delete a weekly shift
1. In the list, find the shift to delete.
2. Click on the trash can icon 🗑.
3. A confirmation message will appear:
“Do you confirm you want to delete this item?”
4. To permanently delete, click “Delete”.
• To cancel the operation, click “Cancel”.
How to duplicate a weekly shift
If you need to create more similar shifts (e.g., only the name or abbreviation changes), you can duplicate an existing one.
1. In the list, find the shift to duplicate.
2. Click on the copy icon 📄.
3. The “Duplicate Weekly Shift” screen will open, with all fields pre-filled.
4. Modify the necessary details, such as:
• Shift name.
• Add shift – Select from those already created.
• “Add shift” button – To add another shift for that day.
• Shift copy icon – To copy the same shift for the next day as well.
5. Click “Save” to confirm.
• To cancel, click “Cancel”.
⚠️ Attention: If no shifts are entered for a day, it will automatically be considered a day off.
How to associate a weekly shift with an educator
1. Click the “Association” button at the top right.
2. A screen will open with three fields:
• Staff – Select the educator from the dropdown menu.
• From – Start date of the shift.
• To – End date of the shift.
3. Click “Next” at the top right.
4. The system will show the selected period, divided into weeks.
5. For each week, select the weekly shift to assign to the educator from the dropdown menu.
6. If you want to customize the shift, click on the pencil icon ✏️ next to the shift to modify it.
7. After completing the association, click “Save” at the top right.
